as far as i can tell odysseus didn't commit any hubris... that was Agamemnon, who we meet in the underworld. He steps on the tapestry when persuaded by Clytemnestra. The hubris is that only gods are allowed to step on the tapestry, and in doing so Agamemnon has likened himself to a god, making his murder by Clytemnestra less condemnable.
Ah ha! his tragic flaw was pride, he told the Cyclops his name. But this isn't hubris - hubris is likening yourself or thinking of yourself as a god.
Hildalgo is a movie that can relate to The odyssey. It was rated the best epic next to the odyssey. It is about a man and his horse who needs to win a race against other people on horses. He is faced with some obstacles like huge sand storms and people trying to kill him. IN the odyssey Odysseus is faced with whiolpools, angry gods, and suitors of his wife. Hope it helps!!!!!
